A total of 694 applicants have been shortlisted for interviews for admission into the University of Ghana School of Law’s 2026 Post-First Degree LL.B programme, according to an interview schedule published by the School.
The interviews are scheduled to take place from July 6 to July 10, 2026, at the School of Law in Legon. Candidates are expected to appear before interview panels during morning and afternoon sessions throughout the five-day exercise.
The shortlisted applicants successfully progressed from the entrance examination stage of the admission process, one of the key requirements for entry into the highly competitive Post-First Degree LL.B programme. The programme is designed for graduates from various academic backgrounds seeking to pursue legal education.
The release of the interview schedule marks another significant step in the admission process and underscores the growing demand for legal education in Ghana. In recent years, law faculties across the country have witnessed increasing competition for limited admission slots.
Although the University of Ghana School of Law has not publicly disclosed the total number of applicants who sat the entrance examination, the 694 candidates shortlisted for interviews represent a substantial pool of prospective students vying for admission into the programme.
The Post-First Degree LL.B programme remains one of the most sought-after pathways into the legal profession in Ghana, attracting graduates from diverse disciplines who aspire to build careers in law and related fields.
