President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has suspended the National Sports Authority Board Chairman over the visa racketeering scandal at the 21st Commonwealth Games held in Australia.
A statement by the Flagstaff House said Kwadwo Baah Agyeman was relieved of his position on Thursday, April 12.
He is the third government appointee to be suspended after at least 60 Ghanaians were arrested for allegedly entering Australia under false pretences.
Deputy Sports Minister, Pius Enam Hadzide and acting Director General of National Sports Authority, Robert Sarfo Mensah were set aside after preliminary investigations into the scandal.
